Mark, along with Steve Abbley and Hywel Luke, set up Quick Move Properties Ltd in 1998 to handle residential part exchanges for new home builders and developers across the UK.

Having previously worked for PHH Home Equity for nearly 10 years, Mark, along with Steve Abbley was instrumental in developing off balance sheet part exchange.

Mark continues to be an innovator within an ever changing industry and has seen the company evolve into the largest independent part exchange specialist in the UK with in excess of 600m pounds worth of property bought and sold since 1998

With a keen eye for transparency and client satisfaction, Mark has grown a highly motivated and efficient team. He is especially proud that Quick Move's very first client in 1998 still remains a client today.

Steve Abbley

Steve Abbley
Director

Steve is one of the three founders of the company and has been involved in the service and property industry since 1984. He was the Finance Director and then Managing Director of a multi national Relocation and Property Services group until 1998, when he left to start Quick Move Properties.

Steve is a big football fan and is married with three children.

Hywel Luke

Hywel Luke
Director

Hywel is the 'old man' of the team having established Quick Move Properties with Steve and Mark in 1998. With more than 25 years experience in residential property, Hywel was previously MD of TSB Mortgages and has also held a number of business development roles in PHH, Grand Met and Ladbrokes.

Hywel is a keen rugby fan and married with 3 sons and one grandson.

John has a degree in Business Studies and is a qualified CIMA Accountant. He has previously worked as Senior Vice President of Finance for an International Relocation company.

He was approached by the directors and was delighted to join the company in 2004. Having worked within the industry for over 20 years, he has a wealth of experience in corporate finance and governance in particular as it relates to the property business.

John is married with two children.

Kirsty has gained a wealth of experience working in Accounts for the last 20 years. She has previously worked in both the Retail and Care Industries.

Kirsty Joined Quick Move Properties in 2008 after relocating to Wiltshire and manages the day to day running of our accounts department.

Viv has worked within the property industry for in excess of 30 years which includes 20 years experience in Human Resources. She worked initially in New Homes before gaining experience in resale properties and lettings whilst working for an international relocation company, where she held the role of Regional Part Exchange Manager and moved into H R & Training as a General Manager.

She was approached by the directors of Quick Move Properties and was delighted to join the company in 2005. Viv has a good understanding of the property industry and extensive knowledge in all areas of Human Resources.

After graduating with BSc (Hons) from Swansea University, Danny joined Quick Move in 2002.

Danny has been responsible for the development of Quick Move Now, which provides a solution for home owners looking for a quick, certain and hassle free sale.

With detailed knowledge of the property market, Danny regularly provides market commentary to journalists and via our blog.

Danny is married with one child and enjoys playing and watching rugby in his spare time.

Rhys joined Quick Move in 2004 having previously worked in numerous property conveyance roles for high street lenders. This experience assisted him in better understanding the requirements of customers when selling and the stresses often attributed to their move.

His current role is as Quick Move Now's Purchase Manager where his calm and patient manner proves invaluable, as he provides advice and assistance to customers all the way through the buying process from acceptance of offer to completion.

After working for several multinationals in customer service roles, Lisa joined Quick Move in 2008 to develop her passion for property.

Lisa has gained significant experience and knowledge of the UK property market and has become an established part of the Quick Move Now team.

She uses her undoubted customer services ability and expert knowledge to assist members of the public who require a quick, certain and hassle free sale.

Originally from Wokingham, Sarah recently joined Quick Move Now as a Property Consultant.

Having spent the past ten years in customer service, Sarah works with clients looking to quickly sell their home and guides them through the initial stages of the Home Purchase process.

Sarah is married and enjoys spending time with her young son and daughter.

Mark has worked within the property industry for over 20 years, initially as a Manager for a national estate agency chain in Gloucestershire before moving to an international relocation company based in Wiltshire where he held the role of Client Services Manager and controlled the 'outright purchase' business.

He was approached by the directors of Quick Move Properties and was delighted join the company in 2001. Mark has a wealth of experience providing part exchange solutions to builders and developers across the UK.

Mark is married with three children and enjoys coaching football and hockey in his spare time.

Karen benefits from a wealth of experience in both Customer Services and the Property Industry. Karen joined the company back in 2004 and initially worked within the Chain Break team providing home sale solutions to estate agents and corporate clients.

She now specialises in providing Home Sales & Part Exchange services to Independent Developers and Park Home Operators across the UK.

With over twenty years experience in customer services, Jayne joined Quick Move Properties in 2003, providing administrative support throughout the business. She quickly progressed within the company helping to create the highly efficient Property Purchase Team.

During her time at Quick Move Properties Jayne has accrued a wealth of knowledge in the legalities and conveyance process of both buying and selling houses. She currently manages the client services relationship for many of the company's original clientele established in 1998.

Jayne is married with two sons.

Mike has 6 years experience within the property and property finance industry, having previously worked for a Mortgage Brokerage in Swindon assisting customers with the process of their mortgage application.

Mike decided to follow his main passion for property and joined Quick Move Properties in 2007 as a Property Consultant; quickly establishing himself as a real team player, Mike is involved in all aspects of the purchasing appraisal and re-sale process.

Tamsin joined the company in 2004 after six years of gaining excellent customer services experience within the public sector.

During the past seven years spent within the property industry Tamsin has experienced both the highs and lows of the market and is an extremely experienced individual in the valuing, acquisition and resale of residential property.

Tamsin continues to draw upon this knowledge within her current role and is a highly experienced property assessor.

Sharon worked in the insurance and pensions industry providing support to clients and field sales staff before taking a break to raise a family of 3. During this period she worked alongside her husband running their own business.

After several part time roles that fitted around her family, Sharon returned to full time work as the Operations Manager at a children's adventure and play centre before taking on the role of Property Consultant with Quick Move in 2007.

Sharon has brought a wealth of customer service experience from her varied and exciting career to her role at Quick Move.

On leaving College in 2005 Jenna worked within the administration department of an international insurance company. She joined Quick Move in 2007 and has fulfilled many positions within the company, broadening her property knowledge each year.

Jenna currently works within the property purchase team liaising with estate agents and surveyors throughout the UK

Linda has the distinction of being our first employee; so has been with us from the beginning in 1998. Previous to that she was the Chairman Steve Abbley's PA and has worked in the property environment for 18 years.

Linda manages the legal completion process to enable us to complete on our sales as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Linda has 2 children and 3 grandchildren

Julie has worked in all aspects of Residential Lettings and Property Management in various positions within Swindon and Bristol, specialising in the "Buy To Let" market over the last 10 years.

She is currently managing AJL Partnership's portfolio of tenanted properties spread around England and Wales.

Swindon born and bred, Julie has 3 grown up children and 1 grandchild.
